It's hard to believe that two years have gone by. I guess the older I get, the faster life moves. Emerson's birthday was last Thursday November 29th. We have been so busy lately, and the 29th was no exception. This poor girl's mother even had to ask grandma (Gigi) to make her a cupcake so she could blow out the candles! But fortunately for her, it was all about the "Dora gifts." This girl LOVES Dora!
After school I picked her up from daycare and Chris came home early so we could open presents before we went to eat. Landon had play practice and he and Chris had to leave by 6:30 so it was a little fast and furious.
In true two year old fashion, we had to take the new Dora figurines to the restaurant.

We had her party on Saturday with our neighbor kids and her cousin Reese. It has been unseasonably warm this month so on Wednesday we looked at the forecast and decided that it was warm enough to rent an inflatable. We didn't know if we would ever be able to have an "outside" birthday party at the end of November again so we did it!! It was great despite the 25 mile an hour wind! But the kids had a great time and I'm pretty sure we wore them all out, and we were worn out too!!
I made these tutu bags and filled them with dum-dum suckers for each of the little girls. Emerson found those and wanted nothing but a sucker! :)
It was a great day, we are truly blessed!
